MOA LITE 3-SEASON TENT
Our new Moa Lite 3-season tents are lightweight and spacious tunnel tents designed to be your comfortable home in the wilderness. Ideal for anyone who needs a light, but strong and well-ventilated shelter that is easy to pitch, even in rough weather. These 2-person and 3-person tents offer an excellent balance between space, weight and stability.
Moa’s panoramic vestibul opening allows for easy access and even better airflow. The outer waterproof layer can be used separately. When pitched together with the inner tent, you get a comfortable, spacious sleeping area and a separate, protected vestibule for all your gear - ideal especially for mountain expeditions and multi-day hikes.

HOW TO CHOOSE A BACKPACKING TENT
Choosing the right tent for backpacking is more complicated than for normal camping. You will be walking long distances for multiple days in unpredictable weather, so weight, weather resistance and ease of setup should be the most important elements to consider. Remember – the longer you hike, the lighter and stronger your tent should be! Other factors to consider are tent capacity, weather (or season), livability and tent type. In other words, how many people and how much equipment must fit in the tent, how much comfort you need to sleep well (space, ventilation, protection) and when and where you will go backpacking.
Of all the tent types, tunnel tents offer a great balance between weight, durability, stability in adverse weather, spaciousness, ventilation and easy setup, and are therefore often the first choice among backpackers. Whatever your preferences, always opt for a lightweight tent that accommodates your group size and offers good protection against rain and wind, and look for good-quality materials and durable design.
The MOA LITE 2 was my hotel room for one full month of bikepacking through Scandinavia. It proves that a roomy and a sturdy tent can be compact & light at the same time. Quickly pitched without exposing the inner tent to the rain and packed with smart details, this is my favorite 3-season tent so far.
While guiding a 3-week ski expedition in the remote corners of eastern Greenland, I needed spacious tents that could easily endure the mid-winter arctic climate with its violent storms. BACH´s SPIX 3 offered all this and more. There was so much room even for the stuffed bags. And in the midst of a snowstorm, no sound of the tent walls was to be heard.
Light, comfortable, weatherproof and set up in two minutes: the new Moa Lite tunnel from BACH impressed us.. On warm, dry nights, the vestibule can be opened completely and the outer tent can be rolled up at the rear end for better ventilation. The robust, lightweight materials are cleanly processed.
