In 1925 Hans Behrmann (1912-1999), then 13 years old, spent his first tent night at the first Swiss National Scout Camp in Bern. Shortly afterwards, Behrmann sewed his first own tent as leader of the tent-making group of the “Sparta” scout unit in Zurich. 10 years later Spatz was born.
