Ideal for anyone who needs a light, but strong and well-ventilated shelter that is easy to pitch, even in rough weather. These 2-person and 3-person tents offer an excellent balance between space, weight and stability.

Moa’s panoramic vestibul opening allows for easy access and even better airflow. The outer waterproof layer can be used separately. When pitched together with the inner tent, you get a comfortable, spacious sleeping area and a separate, protected vestibule for all your gear - ideal especially for mountain expeditions and multi-day hikes.

HOW TO CHOOSE A BACKPACKING TENT

Choosing the right tent for backpacking is more complicated than for normal camping. You will be walking long distances for multiple days in unpredictable weather, so weight, weather resistance and ease of setup should be the most important elements to consider. Remember – the longer you hike, the lighter and stronger your tent should be! Other factors to consider are tent capacity, weather (or season), livability and tent type. In other words, how many people and how much equipment must fit in the tent, how much comfort you need to sleep well (space, ventilation, protection) and when and where you will go backpacking.

Of all the tent types, tunnel tents offer a great balance between weight, durability, stability in adverse weather, spaciousness, ventilation and easy setup, and are therefore often the first choice among backpackers. Whatever your preferences, always opt for a lightweight tent that accommodates your group size and offers good protection against rain and wind, and look for good-quality materials and durable design.
